Darwin Pemberthy, born August 24th, 2001, is a 23-year-old Colombian photographer born and raised in East Boston. With nearly nine years of experience behind the lens, Pemberthy’s interest in photography began at a young age. In 2019, he discovered his passion for film, which quickly became his preferred medium of expression. Pemberthy tends to do work that calls to him. He gravitates towards subjects that resonate with him, often exploring urban life, music, and streetwear. While based in Massachussetts he has collaborated with various Boston-based musicians, artists, and brands. However his photography captures a different narrative when in Colombia, often revolving around culture, family, and nature.
